The GO REWARDS® card is worth a look if your spending leans heavily toward restaurants and gas and you want to keep things simple. Earning 3x points on dining and 2x on gas is solid for a no-annual-fee card, and the points are easy to value at about 1 cent each. That makes the card easy to understand: good rewards in a couple of common categories, with no fee to justify.

Its limits are just as clear. Outside dining and gas, the card drops to 1x points, and there are no listed credits, travel perks, or other benefits to broaden its appeal. If you want one card for all spending, or you care more about perks than category rewards, this probably will not be your strongest option. For Navy Federal members who mainly want no-fee rewards on meals and fill-ups, though, it fits well.
