InFirst Visa Rewards

The InFirst Visa Rewards is built for cardholders who spend regularly on gas, dining, and travel and want solid category rewards without paying an annual fee. It works best as a no-fee everyday card for drivers and households with predictable spending in those bonus categories, rather than as a premium travel card with extra perks.

Overview

Is the InFirst Visa Rewards worth it?

This card is great for...

Gas purchases

Dining and takeout

No-fee everyday spending

Yes, for the right cardholder. The InFirst Visa Rewards makes the most sense if a meaningful share of your monthly spending goes toward gas, restaurants, and some travel, and you want straightforward rewards without an annual fee to justify. Earning 4x on gas, 3x on dining and travel, and 2x on groceries gives it a practical mix for day-to-day use, especially since CURewards points are valued here at 1 cent each.

The tradeoff is that the card is light on extras. There is no welcome bonus currently offered, and no listed travel perks, credits, or protections to help it stand out beyond its earning rates. If you want a simple card that rewards common spending categories, it is a sensible option. If you are looking for premium benefits or stronger value on general purchases, you will probably want to pair it with another card or choose a different one altogether.

MaxRewards

MaxRewards Verdict

This is a good fit for someone who wants no annual fee and above-average rewards on gas, dining, and some travel spending. Its main limitation is that nearly all of its value comes from the rewards categories, since there are no listed perks to add extra upside.

Earning

Rewards

This card uses CURewards points, and at 1 cent per point the earning structure is easy to read as cash-back-like value. The key question is whether your regular spending lines up with the bonus categories, especially gas, dining, travel, and groceries.
