If you sail with Princess often enough to value onboard credit, fare discounts, or other cruise-related redemptions, this card can make sense as a no-annual-fee add-on. The lack of foreign transaction fees also fits naturally with travel spending before and during a trip, and the welcome bonus is easy to earn.

For most readers, though, this is not a strong everyday card. Earning 2x points on Princess and 1x everywhere else is straightforward, but the value is tied closely to Princess rewards, so the card is most useful if you already know you will keep cruising with the line. If you want flexible travel rewards or stronger returns on daily spending, a general travel or cash back card will usually be a better primary card.
