This card is worth considering if you shop at Athleta often enough to make the 5% back at the brand meaningful. For someone who already spends regularly on workout clothing, activewear, or seasonal Athleta purchases, that return is straightforward and easy to use, especially with no annual fee to justify.

For most other spending, the card is much less compelling. Earning 1% back everywhere else is standard at best, and there are no listed travel perks, purchase protections, or fee-offsetting benefits to broaden its appeal. If Athleta is only an occasional stop for you, this is probably a niche store card rather than one you will want to keep at the top of your wallet.
