For regular Frontier travelers, the card easily justifies its $99 annual fee. Frontier charges separately for nearly every extra, so the two free checked bags benefit can save a family or frequent traveler hundreds of dollars each year. Spending $2,500 on the card in an account year earns a $100 flight voucher, which by itself completely offsets the recurring fee.

Outside of travel perks, the card is less attractive for routine expenses. Frontier miles carry a relatively modest value compared to general travel points, so using this card for daily spending yields less return than a flat-rate cash back card. The optimal strategy is to hold the card for its status perks and fee savings while relying on other cards for everyday purchases.
