Goodyear®

The Goodyear® card is built for drivers who regularly buy tires or service from Goodyear and want a store card they can also use at Exxon and Mobil stations. It is a specialist card, not an everyday rewards card, since it does not earn cash back or points on purchases.

Overview

Is the Goodyear® worth it?

This card is great for...

Goodyear tire and service purchases

Exxon and Mobil gas purchases

Single-brand auto spending

This card is worth considering if you already spend regularly at Goodyear locations and want a dedicated card for those purchases, plus occasional use at Exxon and Mobil stations. Its value is mostly about where you can use it, not what you earn back, because there is no welcome bonus and no ongoing rewards program.

For most readers, that makes it a narrow-fit card. A general cash-back card will usually be more useful for gas, auto expenses, and everyday spending. The Goodyear® card makes the most sense for someone who prefers a store-branded card tied to a familiar service provider and does not mind giving up rewards in exchange for that focused use case.

MaxRewards

MaxRewards Verdict

A reasonable fit for loyal Goodyear customers who want a dedicated card for tire, service, and gas purchases at participating brands. Most other cardholders will get more practical value from a no-annual-fee cash-back card.
