This card is built for travelers who fly Hawaiian Airlines often enough to use the airline perks, especially checked bag savings, and want to earn HawaiianMiles from everyday spending along the way. It works better as a loyal-flyer airline card than as a general travel card, with the strongest value tied to Hawaiian flights rather than broad premium benefits.

Overview
Checked bags on Hawaiian flights
Hawaiian Airlines ticket purchases
Island-bound everyday spending
The Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard is worth it if you regularly book Hawaiian flights and can use the free checked bag benefit. For the right traveler, that alone can go a long way toward covering the $99 annual fee, and the elevated earning on Hawaiian purchases gives loyal customers an easy way to build more miles.
For most other readers, this is a fairly narrow airline card. The everyday bonus categories are decent but not hard to beat, and the card does not come with the broader travel perks that often justify keeping an airline card long term. If Hawaiian is one of your main airlines, the card makes sense. If you want flexible rewards or premium travel features, you will likely get better long-term value elsewhere.

A solid fit for Hawaiian Airlines regulars who will use the bag benefit and keep earning miles with the airline. Outside that lane, its value drops quickly, and it is not the card we would choose for everyday spending alone.
