The Priceline VIP Rewards Visa is built for travelers who already book a lot through Priceline and want a no-annual-fee card that gives them a stronger return there. It works best as a specialist card for Priceline purchases, not as a primary everyday card unless your spending naturally lines up with its limited bonus categories.

No-annual-fee travel card use
This card is worth a look if Priceline is already one of your regular booking channels. Earning 5x points on Priceline purchases is the clear reason to carry it, and the $0 annual fee makes that upside easy to keep around without needing to justify a yearly cost. The lack of foreign transaction fees also gives it some practical travel value, especially for a no-fee card.
For most readers, though, this is not the card to center a wallet around. Outside Priceline, the rewards structure is fairly narrow, with 2x on dining and gas and 1x everywhere else. The extra perks are modest, and the Global Entry or TSA PreCheck credit requires $10,000 in annual spend, which limits how meaningful that benefit will be for lighter users. If you do not book through Priceline often, a broader travel or cash-back card will usually be more useful.

A solid fit for Priceline loyalists who want to earn more on bookings without paying an annual fee. If your travel is booked across several sites or you want stronger everyday rewards, its appeal drops quickly.

Earning
This card earns Priceline points worth about 1 cent each, so the rewards are fairly straightforward to read as cash-like value. The real story is the 5x rate on Priceline purchases, while the rest of the earning categories are more of a secondary bonus than a reason to use the card for everything.
