For most readers, this card is a hard sell. A $395 annual fee is already premium-card territory, but this card does not list the travel credits, lounge access, insurance package, or other ongoing benefits that usually make that kind of fee easier to justify. It also has no welcome bonus, which removes one of the fastest ways to get early value from a new card.

The rewards structure is also very narrow. Earning 3x points on Alaska Air, Hawaiian Air, and dining can be useful if those are major spending categories for you, but the base earn rate on everything else is 0%, which makes it a poor fit for general purchases. Unless you have a very specific reason to value Atmos Rewards and spend heavily in those bonus categories, most cardholders would likely be better served by a lower-fee travel card or a stronger dining and airline card with broader earning and clearer benefits.
