This card is built for Choice loyalists who want a no-annual-fee way to earn more points on hotel stays and a few everyday categories. It works best as a companion card for people who regularly stay at Choice properties, not as a primary card for all spending.

Overview
Choice hotel stays
Gas and grocery spending
Cell phone bills
If you stay with Choice often enough to use and value Choice Privileges points, this card is easy to justify. There is no annual fee, the welcome offer has a low spending requirement, and the bonus categories cover a practical mix of gas, groceries, home improvement, and major wireless carriers. For a Choice customer, that makes it a simple way to build points without paying to keep the card.
For most other readers, the appeal is much narrower. The value here depends heavily on wanting Choice points in the first place, and the return on non-bonus spending is weak. If you do not regularly book Choice hotels, a general travel card or cash-back card will usually give you more flexible rewards and better long-term value.

A solid fit for regular Choice guests who want a no-fee hotel card with a few useful everyday bonus categories. If you want flexible rewards or a stronger all-purpose earning card, this is probably not the one to keep at the front of your wallet.

This card earns Choice Privileges points, so the rewards story only really works if you plan to redeem within the Choice hotel program. The bonus categories are practical, but the strongest value still comes from using the card where it aligns with Choice stays and your routine household spending.
