This card is built for Fry’s shoppers who also use mobile wallets regularly, especially for smaller everyday purchases. It works best as a no-annual-fee specialist card, not as your main card, with most of its value coming from 5% back on eligible Apple Pay and Google Pay purchases up to the cap.

Fry’s grocery runs
The Fry’s REWARDS World Mastercard® is worth a look if you already shop at Fry’s and you reliably pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay. The headline feature is straightforward: 5% back on mobile wallet purchases, up to $3,000 in spending. That can be useful for everyday errands, dining, and other in-person purchases where mobile wallet is accepted, and the $0 annual fee makes it easy to keep for targeted use.
For most readers, though, this is not a strong one-card setup. The 5% category is capped, Fry’s purchases only earn 2%, and everything else earns 1%. There are no listed ongoing perks to make up for the narrow rewards structure. If you want a free card just for mobile wallet purchases and occasional Fry’s spending, it fits well. If you want broader rewards or richer grocery earnings, you will likely want a different primary card.

This card makes the most sense for Fry’s customers who can consistently use Apple Pay or Google Pay and want a no-fee card for that specific spending. Outside of mobile wallet purchases, the rewards are fairly ordinary, so it is better as a side card than a daily driver.
Earning
The rewards setup here is simple: the real value is in mobile wallet spending, with a smaller bump for Fry’s purchases and a standard 1% back elsewhere. Think of it as a targeted card for how you pay, not a broad category card.
