TD Cash

TD Cash is built for someone who wants a no-annual-fee card with stronger rewards on everyday spending, especially dining. It works best as a simple primary cash-back card for households that spend regularly at restaurants and supermarkets, rather than as a feature-heavy travel or perks card.

Overview

Is the TD Cash worth it?

This card is great for...

Restaurant spending

Grocery store purchases

No-fee everyday use

Yes, if your spending lines up with its bonus categories. TD Cash gives you solid value for a $0 annual fee card, with 3% back on dining and 2% back on groceries, plus straightforward 1% back everywhere else. For someone who wants decent everyday rewards without managing rotating categories or paying an annual fee, that is a practical setup.

The tradeoff is that the card does not bring much beyond its earn rates. There are no listed statement credits, travel perks, or extra protections to help it stand out, so its appeal mostly comes down to whether you spend enough in dining and grocery categories to beat a simple flat-rate cash-back card. If you do, it is an easy card to keep. If most of your spending happens outside those categories, you will likely get more value elsewhere.

MaxRewards Verdict

TD Cash is a good fit for cardholders who spend heavily on dining and want a no-fee card they can use every day. Its main limitation is simple: once you look past the category rewards, there is not much else here.

Rewards

TD Cash uses points that are effectively worth 1 cent each, so the rewards structure works much like straightforward cash back. The key question is how much of your monthly spending falls into dining and grocery purchases, since that is where this card does most of its work.
