TD First Class℠ Visa Signature®

The TD First Class Visa Signature is built for cardholders who want simple travel-style rewards without paying an annual fee. It fits best as a low-maintenance card for regular dining and travel spending, rather than a premium travel card packed with extras.

Overview

Is the TD First Class℠ Visa Signature® worth it?

This card is great for...

Dining purchases

Travel bookings

No-fee miles earning

This card is worth a look if you want a straightforward no-annual-fee option that rewards two common spending categories well: dining and travel. Earning 3x miles in those categories, with miles worth about 1 cent each, gives it easy-to-understand value for people who book trips a few times a year and spend consistently at restaurants.

The tradeoff is that the card does not come with meaningful travel perks or statement credits, and its 1x rate on everything else is ordinary. If most of your spending falls outside dining and travel, or if you want lounge access, strong protections, or transfer-partner upside, this card will likely feel limited. It makes the most sense for someone who wants simple rewards and no annual fee, not someone trying to build a premium travel setup.

MaxRewards

MaxRewards Verdict

A solid fit for diners and occasional travelers who want uncomplicated rewards with no annual fee. Its main limitation is that the value comes almost entirely from the bonus categories, not from perks or broader earning power.

Rewards

TD Miles are simple to understand here: think of them as a travel rewards currency worth about 1 cent each. The card does its best work on dining and travel, while all other purchases earn at a much more basic rate.
