Bank of America® Customized Cash Rewards Secured

For credit rebuilding, this card can do the job if you want a secured option tied to Bank of America and are comfortable using it mainly as a stepping stone. The lack of an annual fee helps, and a secured card can be a practical way to get back on track when approval for other cards is limited.

The tradeoff is that there is little value here beyond access to credit. There is no welcome bonus, no listed bonus rewards, and no notable perks to offset the very basic setup. If your main goal is rebuilding credit, that may be enough. If you also want cash back or useful card features along the way, this card is hard to justify unless Bank of America specifically fits your banking setup.
